About the job:

Our Strategy & Corporate Development team works across a broad range of industries and sub-sectors worldwide, driving our end-to-end transactional and portfolio management processes from screening and delivering investments to successful exits. We are actively assisting in optimising the daily business operations of our portfolio companies, driving extraordinary value creation, and tackling unprecedented organizational and business challenges.

Your opportunity:

As a strategy & corporate development expert, you already have a successful track record in private equity / M&A or consulting / project management, or an ability to demonstrate a strong background in business analytics. You will actively collaborate with the leadership of GB & Partners and the middle management of numerous portfolio companies, especially in finance and business development areas. You may act as a project manager in improving the day-to-day operations of the portfolio companies. We are supporting a high-performance culture to consistently deliver quality outcome.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Economics/Business Administration from a renowned university with outstanding academic achievement
• 2-3 years of experience in either strategy, professional services (consulting, advisory) or business analyst positions
• Industry experience in one of the following fields is an advantage: financial sector, fintech, smart city / transportation technologies, fashion, manufacturing

 Key competencies:

• Strong background in finance and/or project coordination and/or transformations
• Experience in preparing decision supporting materials
• Strong interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, effective team worker
• Ability to rapidly identify issues and propose solutions, supported by data and analysis
• Communicating and negotiations skills in Hungarian and English
• Strength in digital technologies (office and analytical software, ERP etc.)
